Primary System
These are the major components of my main system in Penang, Malaysia. It’s a combined home theater (HT) and 2-channel audio. The system is fully balanced for 2-channel. The pictures of my primary system are in my first post.
Power:
- Torus AVR30 wall mount power conditioner + voltage regulation
- 2 x Furutech e-TP609 NCF power distributor

- Furutech FP-314Ag-II power cables with Furutech male/female IEC connectors

Preamp:
- Bent Audio pure silver Slagleformer-based passive preamp, fully balanced for front channels
- Bent Audio copper Slagleformer-based passive preamp, single-ended for center and rear channels (in slave mode)
Active crossover:
- JL Audio CR1
Amplifiers and speakers for HT:
- McIntosh MC452 driving Focal Utopia III Diablo (above 60 Hz)
- McIntosh MC303 driving Focal Utopia III Diablo center and Focal Electra IW 1002 Be (in-ceiling rear spkrs)
- 2x JL Audio f113 subwoofers (below 60 Hz)
Amplifiers and speaker for 2-channel:
- McIntosh MC452 driving Harbeth M30.2 (above 50 Hz)
- 2x JL Audio f113 subwoofers (below 50 Hz)
Note: The same MC452 and f113 subs are used for both HT and 2-channel.
Secondary System
I have another house near Kuala Lumpur. The components are not as expensive as my primary system, but I am happy with the sound. It’s a combined home theater (HT) and 2-channel audio. The system is single ended.
Power:
- Torus RM16 power conditioner
- Furutech FP-314Ag-II power cables with Furutech male/female IEC connectors
- Supra Lorad 2.5 power cables with Furutech male/female IEC connectors
Analog:
- Acoustic Signature Challenger Mk3 with SME 309 tonearm and Benz Micro Ruby ZH cartridge
- Rogue Audio Ares phono stage
Digital:

Preamp:
- Bent Audio copper Slagleformer-based passive preamp, single-ended for 5 channels, switchable inputs for 2-channel only
Active crossover:
- Bryston 10B-SUB to split above 90 Hz to M30.1 and below 90 Hz to passive subwoofers
Amplifier
- McIntosh MC207
Speakers for 2-channel:
- Harbeth M30.1 drivers (purchased as drivers and crossover kit from Sam before he closed his business) assembled as open baffle speakers
- Focal K2 E30 KX 12″ drivers used as passive subwoofers, driven by the extra 2 channel in MC207, assembled in custom-made enclosures
Additional speakers for home theater:
- Harbeth P3ESR as center channel
- A pair of KEF LS50 as rear speakers (wall mounted)
Other Systems
Most older components were not sold but kept. These are the extra components with low utilization. One day I need to consolidate and sell most of the items listed below.
